About

Latitude is a non-profit organization based in Brussels (BE) that focuses on urban and territorial research and design.

Latitude is a dynamic platform that includes international scholars and experts such as engineers, anthropologists, graphic designers in order to develop interdisciplinary and experimental works, addressing contemporary urgent issues such as urban, environmental and social fragility, flood vulnerability, urban safety and security. Latitude develops critical positions through international researches, design, exhibitions, writings and conferences.

Latitude is a Research Centre acknowledged by the European Union and it collaborates with universities and cultural, research institutions worldwide.

Latitude was co-founded by Sahdia Khan, Griet Lambrechts, Fabio Vanin, Michiel van Balen, Catherine Vilquin; Tullia Lombardo and Marco Ranzato.
